The IMS Recovery Room with compression chair and infrared PEMF mat

Home / Recovery Room

A private room for the part most people skip.

Compression, infrared sauna, PEMF, percussion, and a vibration platform — in a room with a door, not a corner of a gym floor.

What's in the room

Six tools, each with a job.

Described by what they support. Recovery equipment is not medical treatment, and we won't tell you otherwise.

Normatec 3.0 compression

Sequential air compression through the legs. Supports circulation and gives a comfortable, passive twenty to thirty minutes after a hard session.

Sunlighten mPulse infrared sauna

Radiant heat at a lower ambient temperature than a traditional sauna. Supports warmth and relaxation; most people use ten to twenty minutes.

Higher Dose infrared PEMF mat

A heated mat combining infrared warmth with low-level pulsed electromagnetic fields. Supports a calm, warm reset between training days.

Hyperice percussion

Handheld percussive tools with a range of heads. Useful before training as part of a warm-up, and after as a general down-regulation.

Vibration platform

A stable platform used for light movement and warm-up work. Short exposures, a minute or two per position.

Red light panels

Full-length LED panels emitting red and near-infrared light. You lie or stretch on them for ten to twenty minutes. Low heat, nothing to operate, no sensation beyond warmth.

Somewhere quiet

The room is private and bookable. Recovery you actually do is worth more than recovery you intend to do, and a door helps.

A note on claims

Recovery equipment gets marketed with a lot of confident language about detoxification, inflammation, and metabolic effects. We describe what these tools support — circulation, warmth, relaxation, comfortable movement — and leave it there. If you have a medical condition or a specific injury, talk to a licensed healthcare provider about whether any of this is appropriate for you.

Thirty minutes. No workout. No pressure.

The free Movement Assessment gives you a clear read on how your joints are moving right now and what a program would actually address. You leave with that either way.
